Time flies when you’re knitting

Or, more accurately, when you’re not knitting. I find it hard to believe I started this sweater over a year ago and I’m still only just at the underarm gussets. Apparently what happens when you leave a sweater in its project bag for thirteen months is that nothing further happens to it. I know, I couldn’t believe it either.SONY DSC

Anyway, guilt over having abandoned it for so long and shame over having a start-date of last January on my Ravelry projects list have combined to make me hustle a little. It’s currently my only project so it’s possible there might be some progress now. One of these days I’m going to invent a multiple-armed attachment for my shoulders so I can knit two things at once.

So Fair Isle is on hold while Eriskay gets a seeing to. I suppose I should assume that nothing will happen to Fair Isle while it’s in its bag either. Bah!

(In the meantime, Colin is having its bath and will be available for photography shortly…)
